4 night public transport routes are currently operating in Kyiv. 3 trolleybus routes include #91H (Central Railway Station - Myloslavska street), #92H (Southern Railway Station - Svobody street), #93H (Lva Tolstoho subway station - Chornobyl’ska street) and 1 bus route #137 (Central Railway Station - Kharkivska subway station).

The night shift of the transport starts at 11 PM and lasts till 6 AM. Trolleybuses and buses are operating with 1 hour frequency. The ticket costs UAH 3 per ride and is a special single use ticket. It visually differs from the ordinary day public transport tickets. Tickets can be bought directly from the driver.

All routes are currently operating in a test mode. Kyiv city administration would like to receive a feedback on the night public transport routes from Kyiv dwellers and public transport operating companies to make further improvements. It is also planned to add another route connecting Maydan Nezalezhnosti, Pivnichna street and Obolon’ area in the nearest future. However the ticket price for this route will be higher, at least UAH 10.
