Because capital repair works of escalators at Vokzalna metro station in Kiev, it is temporarily closed. The entry to subway is blocked according to the following schedule:
Monday through Thursday: 7am - 9:30am; 4pm – 7pm
Friday: 7am - 9:30am, 2:30pm - 7:30pm
Saturday: 7am – 9am
Thus, the Ukrainians and guests of the capital are offered other options of ground public transport.
In the direction of Universitet metro station and Khreschatyk Street: buses with numbers 7K (Central Railway Station - Universitet metro station): 24 (Central Railway Station - Kiev-Pechersk Lavra - the Museum of History of Ukraine in World War II); 114 (Central Train Station – Miloslavska street).
In the direction of Olimpiyska and Demiivska metro stations, Central Bus Station: buses with numbers 5 (Central Train Station - Izyumska street); trolleybus number 12 (Central Train Station - Yuriy Smolitch street).
In the direction of Kontraktova Square: tram number 18 (Starovokzalna street - Kontraktova Square).
In the direction of Palats Sportu metro station: trolleybuses numbers 14 (Central Train Station - Botanical Garden); 14K (Central Railway Station – Palats Sportu metro station).
In the direction of Lukyanivska metro station: tram number 15 (Starovokzalna street - Autogenous Plant); bus number 33 (South Railway Station - Soshenko street).
In the direction of the residential area Borschagivka, Otradny, NTTU "KPI", National Aviation University: trams with numbers 1 (Starovokzalna Street - Kiltseva Road) and 3 (Starovokzalna - Mykhailivska Borschagivka).
In the direction of city center: bus number 7 (Central Train Station – Lvivska Square).

Public transport stations are located opposite the exit from the Central Station (bus routes with numbers 5, 7, 7k, 24, 114; trolleybus routes with numbers 12, 14, 14k); on the left from the exit from the South Train Station (trolleybus route number 33); in Starovokzalna street, a bit on the left from Vokzalna metro station, across the walkway over the railroad tracks (tram route with 1, 3, 15, 18).
