Inspired by Snow white, these apples just ask for a bite. You’ll need 10 Small apples, long sticks, 1 3/4 c. of granulated sugar, ½ c. light corn syrup, 3/4 c. water, ½ tsp. purple gel food coloring, ¼ tsp. black gel food coloring. Firstly, insert wooden sticks into the core of each apple and set them aside. Cut a piece of parchment paper, cover a large baking sheet with it. Grease carefully with butter or non-sticking cooking spray. Then, take a medium saucepan, combine sugar, water and corn syrup. Stir gently, add gel food coloring and turn heat to medium-high. Stir constantly, until the mixture boils and sugar dissolves. Lower the heat to medium and let it boil without stirring. If you have a candy thermometer, it has to show 290°. Remove from the heat. Finally, take the apples. Tilt the pan quickly, dip apples in the mixture and twirl through candy to coat evenly. Hold it for a few seconds before placing on greased baking sheet. Repeat with all apples, let cool completely.

A classic spin, you’ll need Oreo cookies for those. As well as about 115 g of chopped dark chocolate, 115 g of chopped white chocolate. Take 18 Oreo cookies for a nice batch. Firstly, line baking sheet with parchment paper and lay aside. Then, melt all but 4 tablespoons of each chocolate in a microwave, for 15 seconds, stirring between each heating. Dip each Oreo (better working for batches of 2 or 3) in chocolate until fully coated. Scrap the bottom of each cookie lightly to remove the excess coating. Melt remaining chocolate and place each color in a plastic bag. Snip a bottom corner, pipe three circles on the opposite-colored cookie. Then, using a toothpick, start dragging a line through the inner-most circle towards the edge of cookie to create web. Repeat until all cookies are dipped and decorated. Refrigerate.

Now, any spider web needs a spider to crawl. Yikes? Not on these delicious cookies! You’ll need 2 cups and 2 Tbsp of all-purpose flour, ½ tsp baking soda, ½ tsp salt, 12 Tbsp melted and cooled until warm butter, 1 cup brown sugar, ½ cup granulated sugar, 1 large egg and 1 egg yolk, 2 tsp vanilla extract and 2 cups of chocolate chips divided. Firstly, heat oven to 165° Celcius. Take a medium bowl, mix flour, salt, and baking soda in it. In a separate larger bowl, beat together the butter, both types of sugar with an electric mixer, until it is well-blended. Then, add the egg, egg yolk and vanilla. Stir the dry ingredients, mix until they’re combined. Add ¾ cup chocolate chips and gently stir, so the dough is soft. Scoop the dough into balls, place on a parchment paper-covered sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Take the cookies from the oven, place 3-4 chocolate chips on the top of each cookie, point side up. Set aside. Now, take remaining chocolate chips, put them in a bowl and microwave on low power, stirring every 30 seconds until melted. Take a ziplock bag and just barely cut the corner off - so the spider legs are thin. Spoon the melted chocolate into the bag, use it to draw spider legs on each cookie. Store them in airtight container or freeze in a freezer ziplock bag.
