“Kiev in miniature” park

“Kiev in miniature” is an open-air exhibition presenting miniatures of the best-known sights of Ukraine. The exhibition is located in picturesque park area on the bank of Dnipro River. Its territory, which embraces 1.8 hectares, includes around 50 miniatures of well-known Kiev buildings, monuments and structures in 1:33 scale. Here you can find small Nezhalezhosti square, Khreschatyk street, famous Kiev churches and monasteries, four bridges across mini-Dnipro River and other interesting objects. There are also parks, squares, monuments of famous Ukrainians and around 1000 small figures of dwellers.

Ferris wheel in Pobedy park

The large and cozy Pobedy park (“Victory park”) is located near Darnitsa subway station on the left bank of Dnipro River in Kiev. The park was established in 1965, but was redesigned only 9 years ago. If you choose this park for a romantic date, you will have a great opportunity to take a ride on the oldest ferris wheel in Kiev, built in the beginning of 1980s. The wheel has 20 cabins with colorful umbrellas. The height of the attraction is 26 meters; the wheel makes a complete rotation in 5 minutes. The wheel undergoes check and repair each year, so it is completely safe. On the top of wheel, you can enjoy beautiful panoramic view of park and left bank of Kiev. The territory of park also includes different attractions and playgrounds for kids, interesting sculptures, lake with boats and catamarans. Park Slavy

Park Slavy (“Park of Fame”) is not only a memorial complex dedicated to Ukrainian soldiers fallen in the Second World War – it is also one of the most beautiful dating places in Kiev. The park is located on green hills above Dnipro River, providing a fascinating panoramic view over the city. The territory of the complex embraces 9,5 hectares, but here you will not find common bars and attractions, except for a lonely coffee shop. Instead of this, park Slavy offers its visitors many majestic monuments and picturesque landscapes of nature. The lower part of the park is notable for its narrow alleys, nice benches and a cozy alcove, hidden among shady trees – a perfect dating spot. An impressive combination of large monuments and golden domes of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra creates a really unique and unforgettable view. This park is one of the favorite places of newly-weds.

National Expocenter of Ukraine

Expocenter of Ukraine national complex is the main exhibition platform of the country, built in 1958. Expocenter is interesting not only as an example of ostentatious Soviet architecture – it is also a very popular place for spending leisure time and dating. The complex can boast a large park with amazing nature. On the territory of the park, you can find such unique spot as an old greenery, an ivied glass building, which is appreciated as a place for wedding photo sessions.
