Sheptytskyy Historical Museum Complex
This museum is situated in a quite residential area of Lviv, away from touristy city center. Housed in a magnificent 19th century palace, this historical museum complex has a permanent exhibition of fine Ukrainian art of the 20th century. Often tourists don’t even know about the existence of the museum, but are mesmerized by the beauty of the building when passing by. Due to long years of abandonment and recent reconstruction that took over five years, this museum is not among Lviv must-see places. However the collection of the museum is truly remarkable and will pleasantly surprise art lovers. The concept of the exhibition is a retrospective of national art during the modern era. The collection is exhibited in 5 halls and in the courtyard of the palace.

Solomiya Krushelnytska Memorial Museum
Solomiya Krushelnytska was one of the brightest soprano opera stars of the first half of the 20th century. The museum occupies the second floor of a house that once belonged to the famous Ukrainian singer. The exhibition rooms are filled with original photographs, posters, concert programs, portraits, snippets of stage costumes, musical publications, artist’s personal belongings. Guided tour in this museum is like a trip to the past, during which you will visit a house in Podolsk, where Solomiya Krushelnytska was born, beautiful Italian villa she used to live in, some of the most famous opera houses backstages. The museum is showcasing more than 17,000 items, which once belonged to Krushelnytska and also many interesting materials connected to the other names of prominent figures of Ukrainian musical history.

Victims of Occupational Regimes Memorial Museum «Na Lonskoho»
This city prison was functioning under different occupational regimes: Polish, Nazi German, Soviet. Now it became a symbol of constant struggle for independence in Western Ukraine. Things that happened on the territory of the prison are the embodiment of crimes against humanity that must not be forgotten. This museum is showing to its visitors the real gruesomeness of the tragedy in Western Ukraine during the repressive regimes of occupation.

This Memorial Museum was created as a place of collective memory of the tragedy associated with massive killings of people who resisted the occupation regimes.
Despite its gruesome past and rather morbid atmosphere, this museum became an open platform for exhibitions, meetings, public hearings and discussions aiming to spread the awareness of war crimes historical meaning and its affect on future generations.
