Tulip Festival at ‘Spivoche Pole’ (The Singing Field)
You can stroll along the ‘Spivoche Pole’, located in Pechersk district. This landscape park occupies the territory of more than 30 hectares. There you can visit the ‘Secrets of Easter Eggs’ tulip festival, where you will be able to enjoy 300,000 tulips of 12 different varieties. The event will take place from April 13th up to May 10th, 2017.
This year’s festival will showcase interesting tulip varieties, such as red Viking tulips, apricot-colored Apricot Foxx tulips, purple and white Jackpot tulips, yellow Strong Gold tulips, purple Blue Diamond tulips, and many others. The main topic of all the flower compositions is Pysanka (the painted Easter Egg), which is the eternal symbol of Orthodox Easter.

Morskaya Skazka Oceanarium
Another interesting place to visit in Kyiv is definitely the one and only oceanarium, located in the Detskiy Mir shopping center. This entertainment complex is worth visiting, because this is the place where both parents and their children will have fun.
The oceanarium consists of marine aquariums forming an underwater tunnel. There all its visitors will be able to observe numerous representatives of the marine life, inhabiting the deep sea, such as jellyfish, sea stars, shrimp, sea urchins, clownfish, turtles, and even dog-fish (the most poisonous fish in the world). In addition, you will also be able to watch the divers feeding reef sharks.

Flight in the Windtunnel (Airtube)

The National Museum of Natural History
The National Museum of Natural History, built in 1966, is still one of the biggest scientific research museums in the world. The museum complex has harbored under its roof five museums: the Geological, Paleontological, Zoological, Botanical, and Archeological. It contains more than 30 000 specimens, exhibited in 24 halls, which showcase the evolution of our planet, its flora and fauna, and its history. There is a complex of dioramas in the museum showing its visitors the landscape expositions of different epochs.

Hydropark
The park occupies the territory of 188 hectares. It is a popular recreation centre, where locals and its guests can have a good time sunbathing on its clean beaches, dining at local restaurants, or playing on sport ground in the open air. In the Hydropark a lot of music concerts, exhibitions and festivals are often held in spring and summer. For that reason, Hydropark is a perfect place for a whole family rest.
