Restaurants in Kyiv: September 2017 Review

With the arrival of fall the number of options for dining in Kyiv seems to double. The well-established and already popular among locals as well as numerous tourists restaurants come up with new seasonal menus and newly opened venues try to awe a well spoiled Kyiv crowd with new dishes and cocktails. We offer you the list of new capital’s restaurants to visit this fall.

Food Prostir

The creative team behind Food Prostir call it the first corporate food-court in Kyiv. It can accommodate up to 250 diners and is housed in a business center in Vidradnyy. Food Prostir was mainly aimed at IT-companies’ employees working in this area. There are several ordering stations where guests can quickly order salads, main course, Wok dishes, fresh juices and desserts, All food is also available for take away.
The menu has over 200 items ranging from Asian dishes to conventional Ukrainian food.

Takava Coffee-Buffet

This is a new coffee shop in Kyiv downtown (the corner of Velyka Vasyl’kivska and Saksahanskoho). The coffee shop occupies two floors and features interesting and hip design. The coffee menu is really vast and will impress you with the number of options. There is also a list of desserts which always has freshly baked cakes, cheesecakes and macarons.

Chashka Rysy (Bowl of Rice)

Located on Shevchenko boulevard, Bowl of Rice is a new Asian cuisine restaurant in Kyiv downtown. The menu gathers together the most popular dishes from various counries of South East Asia. Here guests can order traditional Asian fried rice with vegetables, pork, veal, shrimps and other options; traditional pad Thai; tom yum soup; Vietnamese nems; spring rolls, pho bo soup and Korean dumplings.
Also foodies can order Indian yellow curry with chicken, Malaysian curry with fish or seafood, Cambodian chicken with coconut and other interesting dishes.

Woki Toki Asian food market

Woki Toki is a well known Asian food joint among local foodies, as it is a constant participant of Kyiv major street food festivals. This new diner opened just a stone throw away from Livoberezhna subway station. There is no menu in this place, guests can simply choose from the list of ingredients which will be turned into delicious Asian dish by skilled chefs.

The team behind popular Kyiv Mexican restaurant Rojo Ojo opened their new restaurant in Borshchagivka Petropavlivska area.
