Alfa Jazz Fest 2017

Alfa Jazz Fest, the major jazz event not only for Ukraine but for the whole Europe, will be taking place in Lviv from June 23rd to June 27th, 2017. Again Lviv will be hosting the biggest jazz event of the year and it expects thousands of visitors and world famous musicians. Alfa Jazz Fest puts Lviv on the international musical scene as festival’s line-up is getting more and more impressive every year. The participants of 2017 Alfa Jazz Fest have not been announced yet, however, jazz fans anticipate some pleasant surprises.

LvivMozArt

This is the newest addition to Lviv busy festival scene. LvivMozArt is a festival of classical music and opera. Visitors will have a chance to enjoy concerts by famous European orchestras and opera singers. Besides concerts, the festival will offer a series of workshops and lectures for professional musicians, directors, actors and people who work in classical music and theater related spheres. LvivMozArt Festival will be taking place in Lviv from August 18th till August 25th, 2017.

Lviv City Day

Each year in early May Lviv grinds to a halt to celebrate the city's birthday. This year Leopolitans will be marking the city’s 761st anniversary and the party is expected to be loud and proud as always. This colorful festive action unites the dwellers of Lviv and its guests every year. It is a holiday of great entertainment traditions: impressive street theater performances, concerts and festivals.
Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy thousands of participants of the Great Street Parade-Carnival.
The exact dates of the celebration are to be announced, traditionally it is first or second weekend of May.

Night in Lviv Festival

Night tours became another popular tourist attraction of Lviv. The cultural life of the city continues deep into the night. The "Night in Lviv” festival is held twice a year. In 2017 it
will be taking place in July and November.
First «Night in Lviv» Festival was held as a promotional campaign in 2011. Since then it has developed into a full-fledged festival. This will be the 11th «Night in Lviv» Festival and it will bring interesting and rich program to all the visitors: jazz concerts, open air movie night, cycle quests, themed excursions and walking tours.
For the convenience of all the visitors of «Night in Lviv» Festival tickets to all events can be purchased online. All the public transport will be running till late on the days of the festival.

Lviv Coffee Festival

Lviv Coffee Festival is a major food festival event of the year not only for Lviv, but for the whole Ukraine. Thousands of tourists come to Lviv specifically to attend this event. Numerous coffee shops and coffee brands take part in the festival. There are best barista, best coffee shop, best coffee blend contests and many more coffee-related events. If you are serious about coffee, Lviv in September (21st to 24th) 2017 is a place to be.

Lviv Book Forum

Lviv Book Forum is the single most important event for literature and publishing business in Ukraine.
Publishers and authors will flock to Lviv on the dates of September 13-17, 2017 for the Lviv Book Forum, an annual literature market and festival. In 2016, this will be the 24th Book Forum happening in Lviv. Founded in 1994, it gathers not only publishers, writers or readers, but also celebrities, sportsmen, famous politicians, educators, translators, journalists and is one of the most important social events of the season.
