July in Lviv might seem to be a bit slow in concerts and festivals after amazingly rich for events June. It seems only natural that the one needs to take a break after 5-day Alfajazz marathon & concerts of Ukrainian top artists like Jamala, Ivan Dorn, Boombox and others. July’s event calendar might look less busy, but still has quite a number of concerts and festivals to offer.

First Philharmonic Summer Festival

Hosted by Lviv National Philharmonic Hall, this festival will bring real joy to all classical music lovers. A series of concerts will be happening during July and first half of August. Check Lviv National Philharmonic Hall Facebook page for schedule and tickets reservations details.

Rumbarbar Swin and Dance opening event

Rumarbar is a new beach club near Lviv that opens its doors to the visitors on July 16th. Rumbarbar opening party is one of the most anticipated events of this summer. Guests will be entertained by «Mad Hads» band, stand-up comedy shows, best DJs sets and fashion shows. Tickets for this event can be booked on-line.

Mari Cheba is a new Ukrainian electronic trip-hop music band created by solo vocalist Mary Cheba. These guys make interesting musical experiments, combine different styles and music-design with sound effects and vocal, creating cosmic architecture of sound.

Shturm Fest

It is a 3-day music festival in Carpathian mountains. Its line-up features such bands as: Haydamaky, MORPHINE SUFFERING, SKINHATE, Los Colorados, Merva, Farinhate, Braincoats, IndepenDance, Lack Of Loud and lots of others. There will be literature readings stage in addition.

V Woodstock Festival Ukraine 2016

When you hear «Woodstock» you think of legendary American rock-festival first held back in 1969 under the motto: Peace, Love and Happiness. Woodstock Ukraine is the only free of charge rock festival in Ukraine. This year’s feature bands are: The Snuff (Czech Republic), Skryabin, Clock Machine (Poland), Wild Pig (Poland), Ukrainian rockers SINOPTIK, Indytronics, Fontaliza , Detach, Fiolet, TRYSTAVISIM, Arlett. The festival takes place near Lviv, in a small cozy town of Svirzh. A camp site will be available over there as the festival lasts for 3 days.
