First «Night in Lviv» Festival was held as a promotional campaign in 2011. Since then it has developed into a full-fledged festival. This will be the 11th «Night in Lviv Festival» and it will bring interesting and rich program to all the visitors: jazz concerts, open air movie night, cycle quests, themed excursions and walking tours. The grand opening of the Festival will be held on Friday, July 15th, on 19:00, on Rynok Square. Check their Facebook event page for more details. The festival will start from one of the most anticipated events of the music summer season in Lviv - ORGAN OPEN AIR performance. Aurore Baal- popular European organist and chamber orchestra Collegium Musicum, under the direction of John Ostapovych, will open this year's "Night in Lviv” festival with unique organ performance on Rynok Square. The organ that will sound on the main square of Lviv is a full-featured copy of baroque organ. Authentic reproduction of the original sound will be reached through the latest audio technologies.
