Book about painting is the first book series about art for children from publishing Nebo BookLab Publishing: three museums, three paintings and three unique stories. Imagine if the heroes depicted on the paintings could tell us their stories. Each book’s protagonist is the hero of a concrete painting. They live in different times, different cities and countries. Moreover, while following the plot, the book reader will find interesting facts about artists and paintings from the museums.
The first three books of the series are:
- "The Portrait of Little Olga" (based on the work of Tatiana Yablonska "Got Sick" from the National Art Museum of Ukraine in Kiev);
- "The first Stephanie’s Lace" (based on the work of Otto van Veen "Portrait of a Girl" from the Museum of Western and Oriental Art in Kiev)
- "Three Lives of Vasik Cat" (based on the work of Ivan Kramskoy “Girl with a Cat” the National Museum of Russian Art in Kiev).
