The cyclists will compete in a 16 km race. There will be 22 teams taking part at this competition (13 international teams and 9 Ukrainian ones). The race will take place at the Olympic Circle in Chabany town, a recently renovated cycling training facility, where sportsmen train for Olympic games as well as for other international professional cycling competitions.

On May 27th 2017 (Saturda) Horizon Park Race will present a special event - Horizon Park Race Maidan. This special race will be taking place on Khreshchatyk street in Kyiv. The starting point will be located by Kyiv City Council building. All the participants will have to cycle 19 laps - each lap is 19 km long -, so in total the distance of the race is 116 km. The cycling route will include Khreshchatyk street, Taras Shevchenko Boulevard, Peremogy Avenue, Nyvky Subway Station.

At 1 PM male cyclists will be joined by women, with the official kick off of the Horizon Park Women Challenge. This is a female cycling race that will be taking place in Kyiv. Om May 28th, female cyclists will be also competing at VR Women ITT in Vyshgorod District, Kyiv Region. This individual time trial female cycling race is taking place for the second time in Kyiv and due to its popularity has all the chances to become traditional.
