Pan-Asian cuisine was born in Malaysia and Singapore which were influenced by Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, China, Korea and India. Pan-Asian region is the diversity of culinary traditions, interwoven and mutually influenced.
KOYA has two floors for 250 people.
There is indispensable arsenal of drinks for a noisy bar-crawling with classic and Pan-Asian dishes on the first floor: you can find in menu a dish of particular country or region. The imposing lounge bar with special cocktails and menu with new dishes for Kyiv, such as Oshi Sushi and Aruba, is located on the second floor.
The design is minimalistic; there are no abundance of details and eclecticism. Neon blue light is the main focus of the bar downstairs. On the second floor there are warm colors and materials, a lot of greenery and a panoramic wall overlooking the courtyard of Arena area. An open kitchen with traditional Japanese Robata-grill is located at the center of the hall.
Vyacheslav Lankin and Tahir Haziyev from the “Bartender Brothers” community came from Moscow to work on this project. They developed the idea of molecular sushi cocktails: there are two versions of one cocktail - classical and molecular. The molecular cocktails look like real sushi - gunkan or rolls but their ingredients are made of drinks.
In a lower bar you can find drink snacks and dj-sets from Thursday to Saturday when the place is open until 5 a.m while the rest of time it works up to 3 a.m..
The bar on the second floor has different atmosphere: there is less noise and traffic but more shows. It offers different bar menu card with a line of tiki cocktails and show cocktails for the company.
Rey Sabinosa is a brand-chef. He has 12-year experience in London restaurants (Murakami London, Buddha Bar London). Rey has developed a menu that will be updated every 2 months.
