Lviv Vanes (Flugery Lvova)

To get all the jazz enthusiasts warmed up before the Alfa Jazz Fest, major Jazz event of Eastern Europe, Lviv will host Flugery Lvova (Lviv Vanes) jazz festival on April 29th - May 1st, 2017.
This is a well-established and beloved by locals ethno-jazz festival in Lviv. The festival has been gathering all the jazz enthusiasts, musicians and singers in Lviv since 2003. Flugery Lvova (which can be translated as Lviv vanes) will be traditionally taking place in the inner courtyard of Lviv City Council, more commonly known as Ratusha, located on Rynok Square.

Batyar Festival Lviv

The Day of the City, Lviv

Each year in early May (this year from May 5th to May 7th, 2017) Lviv grinds to a halt to celebrate the city's birthday. This year Leopolitans will be marking the city’s 761st anniversary and the party is expected to be loud and proud as always. This colorful festive action unites the dwellers of Lviv and its guests every year. It is a holiday of great entertainment traditions: impressive street theater performances, concerts and festivals.
Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy thousands of participants of the Great Street Parade-Carnival.

An annual hot air balloon festival in Kamyanets Podilskyy, which is one of the most popular and the most spectacular events of the year in Ukraine will be happening from May 18th to May 21st, 2017.

Tryhutty International Kite Festival

Tryhutty («three huts» in Ukrainian) International Kite Festival is an event where colorful kites are flown in the beautiful Ukrainian skies. The festival will take place near Tryhutty village (Mykolayiv Region) on May 21st, 2017 and will unfold enchanting local traditions with concerts and entertainment involving live-bands’ performances and talented dancing bands acts, games, contests, fair of hand-made goods, national cuisine food court, colorful art objects, launch of air lamps and much more.
