Landscape Spring Festival in Kyiv Botanical Garden

Landscape Spring Festival in Kyiv Botanical Garden

Hryshko National Botanical Garden located on Pechersk traditionally shines in the limelight when spring comes around. This time, the reason is the new landscape festival that will show 18 eco-friendly compositions made by the winners of the “Green Card into the Future” contest.

According to the organizers of the festival, ecology and preserving nature is the most pressing issue that is often neglected by government and authorities. The fragile balance between human-made world and nature is easily broken, but can hardly be restored once it’s gone. That’s why the local architects, landscape designers, and decorators took part in the Green Card into the Future contest with the great aim to show that humanity and its environment can coexist in peace.
