As mentioned on the Ukrainian Fashion Week website, this season the Organizing Committee has invited editors from Business of Fashion (the UK), Vogue Italia, Vogue.com (USA), Vogue Russia, Fucking Young! (Spain), Harpers Bazaar (the UK), NOWFASHION (France), VEIN Magazine (Spain), Supremeye (Belgium); buyers from ASOS (the UK), Uggla (Japan); photographers from Getty Images, NSS Magazine (Spain), Runway Manhattan (USA), Street Style Planet Earth (the UK).
Sustainability will be in focus in FW19-20 season. Ukrainian Fashion Week and Sustainable Fashion Pad - the first Ukrainian platform for sustainable fashion - have created a new BE SUSTAINABLE! project. It will be interesting for both designers and visitors of UFW. February 1 will mark 5 workshops, lectures, and public talks on the topic.
Visitors will also have a chance to visit the exhibition of collections of designers that advocate for sustainable fashion like Ali Saulidi, BEVZA, Ksenia Schnaider, MARSALA, RCR Khomenko and others. Designers from Ksenia Schnaider, MARSALA, RCR Khomenko X Laska Charity Store, Re-beau and ROUSSIN by Sofia Rousinovich will head the workshops.
Moreover, Ukrainian Fashion Week FW19-20 will have a special focus on men's fashion. Thus, several men's fashion shows are scheduled for February 4. Guests will see collections by brands like SONYA MONINA, ROUSSIN BY SOFIA ROUSINOVICH, IDOL, DASTISH FANTASTISH and presentations of Ali SAULIDI, ALXndr LEN, FALKE, INDPOSHIV, RITO in MEN'S SPACE.
UFW FW19-20 will also traditionally host lectures, like "The Way to sustainable living: Perception, Acceptance and Practice", project presentations, and a showroom of footwear and accessories. The full program of Ukrainian Fashion Week FW19-20:
