This winter, the independent theater "Misanthrope" together with TELEPORT360 will premiere the "Goliath" - the first play in Ukraine staged on the basis of a comic book, a graphic novel by the world-famous illustrator Tom Gauld. The performance will be quite unusual: instead of a stage, the action will take place in a real pool right in front of the audience.

The performance will be quite unusual: instead of a stage, the action will take place in a real pool right in front of the audience.

The content of the story will be told through special technologies, - the projection of the text on the water will become a nod to a comics book, where all thoughts and speech of the characters appear in bubbles. The idea will be appreciated not only by adult fans of visual and audio perfection, but also true connoisseurs of comics - teens and children.

The play will be the first production of the "Misanthrope" theater, which welcomes the whole family (aged 10+).

This intellectual and aesthetic theatrical experience will be a nice alternative to numerous outdated Christmas celebrations. Instead, you and your children will be offered a philosophical stage engagement, where adults will be able to rethink the famous myth of Goliath, and the children will understand that the theater can be modern and interesting.

Attention: all spectators will receive raincoats at the entrance to be protected from splashes.
