November 2018 has a bit of everything from blues and classics to heavy metal and electronic music. International starts like Kodaline, Stone Sour and local masters of sound will provide the right soundtrack for this autumn.

Kyiv Chamber Orchestra. Albion


Kyiv Chamber Orchestra continues to introduce the international classics to the Ukrainian audience. This time, the award-winning violinist Vadim Borisov will lead the way to the world of British composers. The program will feature Henry Purcell, Edward Elgar, Frank Bridge and Benjamin Britten. Moreover, the location is quite unique - the concert will take place in German-style Church of St Catherine called 'Kirche'. It was built way back in 1855, initiated by the German diaspora living in Kyiv at the time.

Kodaline


Kodaline started as runner-ups on the Irish talent show You’re a Star, and nowadays the indie band occupies top charts of Spotify. Their most-known single All I Want has been featured in TV shows and series, as well as a part of The Fault in Our Stars soundtrack. Apart from their hits, the band will perform tracks from their fresh album called Politics of Living.

Will Jacobs Band


Caribbean Club continues providing Ukrainian fans of blues with big-name artists. This November, visitors can enjoy the rhythms of blues by Will Jacobs, the winner of Chicago Blues Challenge, and his band. Will has performed on stage in clubs and attended numerous gigs since the age of 12, so the performance promises to be great.

IX International Blues Festival in Kyiv


This November, Dom Kino will traditionally host an almost-anniversary event - the International Blues Festival taking place in Kyiv for the 9th time. In 2018, the festival will be opened by Neil Nolen (the USA) and his band. The artist has spent more than 30 years touring the globe and performing blues. Another international guest of the festival is Eddy Martin - an award-winning blues musician from the UK. Finally, harmonica player Keith Dunn, already familiar to the Ukrainian audience, will add finishing touches to the night.

Christian Berishaj known as JMSN in the world of music is somewhat of the one-man band. The young musician plays multiple instruments, writes lyrics for his songs, engineers and mixes music, and even directs music videos for his songs. His melodies range from the sweetest velvet R&B to lively electronic beats. JMSN has collaborated with big-name artists like J Cole, Tyga, Ta-ku and this November will finally give a solo concert in Ukraine.

Stone Sour


One of the most popular contemporary metal bands, Stone Sour, finally will perform in Ukraine. The band will bring on their greatest hits as well as tracks from the new Hydrograd album that steadily climbed musical charts across the globe. Stone Sour's frontman and vocalist Corey Taylor is the former leader of Slipknot, so expect some heavy metal riffs and truly sour vocals.

God is an Astronaut


One of the most famous contemporary post-rock bands God is an Astronaut will give two concerts in Ukraine this autumn. The musicians from Ireland have skillfully combined more than four genres to produce their own recognizable sound. The fall tour is dedicated to the new LP Epitaph, full of anti-war lyrics that resonates well with Ukraine.
