4.48 Psychosis
Based on the same-name play by Sarah Kane, 4.48 Psychosis tells a story about dying, namely dying in your own mind while struggling with mental illness. The play directed by Roza Sarkisian is one of the finalists of Taking the Stage 2018 and premiered in January this year. It takes performance to the new level with projections on different planes, interacting with the audience and much more.

Antoinette Mishchenko. Piano
This November, Urban Music Hall presents Antoinette Mishchenko - a talented award-winning Ukrainian pianist, recognized during the International Competition in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz. Antoinette often performs abroad, gracing stages in Germany, Italy and Eastern Europe. In Odesa, she will play the classic pieces by Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev like The Seasons, 10 Pieces from Romeo and Juliet, Op.75.

Giselle
The classic 19th-century ballet tells a story of love that transcends life and death. Young Giselle discovers that her beloved one has betrayed her, which breaks her heart and leads to early death. However, she continues to exist as one of the Wilis – brides that have died before their weddings. To save her beloved, Giselle must find the strength to forgive him and ultimately save herself from living as a hateful undead spirit.

Tango Music Project
Tango Music Project was founded in 2016 by members of Odesa Opera House orchestra. Together they explore the fiery tango, luring in visitors with passionate rhythms. The project has already performed in Poland, Switzerland and the Netherlands and now will return to native Odesa.

Vladimir Malakhov feat. international ballet stars
Vladimir Malakhov is no less than a legend in the world of ballet: his career includes the position of the artistic director of the Staatsballett and a principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre. He was awarded by the prestigious Prix Benois de la Danse and performed in NYC, Vienna, Stuttgart and Tokyo.
This autumn, Vladimir Malakhov brings a whole team of renowned professionals: choreographer Toru Shimazaki that collaborated with Cirque du Soleil, dancers from the Paris Opera Alessio Carbone and Laetitia Pujol, as well as Croatian artists Guilherme Gameiro Alves and Iva Vitić Gameiro. The performance will include classical pieces as well as the artists' vision of contemporary music like Radiohead.

Complexions Contemporary Ballet: Star Dust
Last year, a David Bowie-inspired ballet 'Star Dust' made debut in the Joyce Theater in New York City. The performance had a roaring success, noted by media like The Billboard, The New York Times and, of course, David Bowie fans.
Star Dust explores the iconic period of Bowie's career, bringing together dancing and famous melodies like Space Oddity, Lazarus, and Heroes. The main focus is placed on Desmond Richardson - the award-winning American dancer who collaborated with Prince, Michael Jackson and Aretha Franklin.

Masquerade
Apart from the classic pieces, Odesa Opera House also features a premiere of the season - Masquerade by Aram Khachaturian. The ballet was first premiered in 1941 in the Vakhtangov Theatre in Moscow right before the Nazi occupation. Masquerade is based on the same-name play by Mikhail Lermontov, telling the story of Yevgeny Arbenin, a noble rebel of the 19th century. Born into high society, Arbenin tries to gain a bit of independence, which ultimately brings him to a collapse.
