The New Summer Open-Air Cinema in Lviv

Open-air and drive-in cinemas have experienced a great rise of popularity ever since the beginning of the 20th century. Now that the technologies are more accessible, we can enjoy movies shown on the big screen on fresh air, often accompanied by snacks and great company. This summer, the popular sweets manufacturer Rafaello hosts new summer movie showings in Lviv.

Comfy beanbag chairs, large screen and the romantic ambiance of Lviv parks promise a start of beautiful date. The schedule includes popular classics and contemporary movies that revolve around love:

  • Eat, Pray, Love (2010) — July 24, August 6
  • The Notebook (2004) — July 25, August 12
  • French Kiss (1995) — July 26, August 7
  • Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961) — July 27, August 11
  • Notting Hill (1999) — July 28, August 5
  • Groundhog Day (1993) — July 29, August 8
  • You Got Mail (1998) — July 30, August 4
  • A Good Year (2008) — July 31, August 3
  • The Diary of Bridget Jones (2001) — August 1 and 9
  • Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011) — August 2 and 10

The movies are shown in Ukrainian with English subtitles. The showings begin at 8.30 P.M. The entrance is free. More information, including the location, can be found on the official Rafaello Facebook page.
