New Year Fun Run in Lviv
Every year Lviv attracts thousands of visitors who are looking to experience the magical winter fairy tale in the heart of the medieval town filled with European Christmas atmosphere. New Year in Lviv is a merry affair with a great selection of festive events to suit all interests and tastes. In 2018 Lviv has something very special planned for its dwellers and guests on the New Year night: the New Year Fun Run. This mini-marathon will start just before midnight and will gather many healthy-living enthusiasts in funny costumes for the ultimate winter holiday fun.

New Year in Bukovyna
Nicknamed Little Vienna for the rich Austro-Hungarian architectural heritage, Chernivtsi is one of the gems of Western Ukraine. Due to its multicultural past, Chernivtsi doesn’t look like any typical Ukrainian city. Chernivtsi is the «capital» of historical Bukovyna region, a multicultural area that used to house major Jewish, German, Armenian and Romanian communities. Transcarpathia (Zakarpattya Region) offers fun and active options for New Year celebration. The highest peak of Ukraine Hoverla and the largest lake of the Ukrainian Carpathians Synevyr are located here. Visitors are invited to discover ancient Ukrainian traditions and rituals, travel to mysterious castles, take a rejuvenating hot baths outdoor in traditional cast iron vats, ski and sledge, as well as take part in folk ceremonies of New Year and Christmas celebrations.
New Year in Bukovel
Bukovel is the best known ski resort in Ukraine. This resort is easily accessible from Ivano-Frankivsk. It’s a full service resort with entertainment and accommodations on site and it can handle almost any desire you may have along with excellent skiing for all skill levels. There are many hotels and B&Bs in Bukovel ski area (mailnly located in Polyanytsia and Yablunytsia villages), early booking is highly advised.

New Year by the Sea
Odesa, often referred to as a pearl of the Black Sea, is inviting all the guests to celebrate New Year enjoying famous Odesa hospitality and winter sea vistas. City downtown will host many festive events, such as traditional Christmas fair with hot mulled wine and delicious food, live gigs, and theatrical performances. The city is also known for having spectacular fireworks over the sea on midnight. You can book a table in one of the numerous restaurants or simply enjoy a festive mood on the central square of the city.
