Avid travelers know that the best way to ensure a chic&cheap trip is to seek the sales. Naturally, some reasons may prevent people from using this tip, one of them being uncomfortable means of transport. While flights with many stops are undoubtedly more affordable, sometimes it is best to value comfort over everything. The frustration of direct flights or train destinations being non-existent is easily understood. But there’s a silver lining for it — Ukraine is on the way to implement as many new ways to demanded destinations as possible.

Thus, starting December 2017 Ukrainian Raiways Ukrzaliznytsia added a new train destination, Odesa - Przemyśl, to complement the hot pick Kyiv - Przemyśl, which is often booked a week ahead. Polish city Przemyśl is one of the key stops of various lowcost airlines, enabling frequent and affordable flights to far-off spots like Iceland, as well as closer cities in Europe. Another December newcomer among railway destinations is Kyiv - Vienna. Starting December 10th, those adoring long trips by train can enjoy a through route to Austria. The train will depart from Kyiv at around 2 P.M, heading firstly to Lviv (arrival at around 8 P.M.), and then making a 20-minute stop in Budapest. Vienna will meet the travelers at around 11 A.M the next day. Austrian Federal Railways already added detailed information about this route on their booking web-site.

As for those opting for flying, get ready to pack for Malta and Sofia. While visiting Ukraine in October, the president of Malta Marie Louise Coleiro Preca assured that the direct flights between the two countries will be soon available for booking. Sofia is ready to embrace tourists as well — Windrose airlines announces new regular flights to Bulgaria’s capital. Starting from the 5th of October 2017 and up to the 24th of March 2018, every day a modern Embraer will carry out a flight to Sofia. The plane departs from Boryspil International Airport at 9.20 A.M, and arrives in Sofia at 11.20 A.M. Now you can save time for exploring the ancient city instead of mindlessly waiting in the airport.
