New International Airlines Destinations from/to Ukraine

With the arrival of fall many international airlines announced about their new routes to and from Ukraine. «Destinations» gathered together the list of new destinations available from Boryspil and Zhylyany Kyiv International Airports.

Qatar Airways announced the launch of its new direct service to Kyiv, with seven weekly flights beginning 28 August 2017. Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker says that their new service to Kyiv is part of our expedited expansion plans, which aim at unlocking new destinations to enhance our passengers’ connectivity to their extensive global network. Passengers from Kyiv will now have the opportunity to travel seamlessly through the award-winning Doha Hub, Hamad International Airport (HIA), to any of the popular destinations in Eastern Europe as well as throughout Qatar Airways rapidly-expanding network.
The new Kyiv route will be served by an Airbus A320 aircraft, featuring 12 seats in Business Class and 132 seats in Economy Class. The aircraft offers individual seatback television screens providing all passengers with the next-generation, interactive on board entertainment system, Oryx One, featuring a choice of more than 3000 entertainment options.

It will soon be possible to fly from Kyiv to Ljubljana with Adria Airways. Adria, the leading Slovenian carrier, which connects Ljubljana to 18 destinations with more than 190 scheduled flights a week, will introduce this new service at the end of October, 2017. Direct flights three times a week will connect Ljubljana Airport to Kyiv's Boryspil International Airport. The first Adria flight to Kyiv departs on Sunday, 29 October 2017. With night flights from Ljubljana Airport, passengers will be able to travel to Kyiv on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while departures in the other direction will be on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

In September Azerbaijan low-cost airline Buta Airways began operating the Kyiv-Baku flight from Kyiv Zhulyany International Airport. The flights will be operated twice a week – every Tuesday and Wednesday -, but soon the third flight on Saturday will be added. Ticket prices start at UAH 800 for one-way ticket.

Italy's Ernest Airlines has announced it will launch flights from Kyiv's Zhuliany airport to Bergamo and Naples, as well as from Lviv's airport to Bergamo, Venice and Naples as early as this year, according to the aviation news portal avianews.com.
