New Railway Destinations 2017 from Kyiv to Europe

For train-lovers and height-haters here’s a piece of good news – some new travel destinations in Europe can be reached by train. Not hot summer sun but opening of the borders to European countries stroke Ukrainian people. In light of this Ukrainian Railways Ukrzaliznytsia decided to launch some new railway destinations 2017 from Kyiv to Europe.

Escaping from daily routine and changing the scenery around is the best way to recharge your batteries and get inspired to continue conquering the world. Travelling is, on the one hand, extremely pleasant activity but when it comes to airport procedures one can get bored and exhausted. To avoid this kind of stress and feel relaxed during the trip take a look at new railway destinations 2017 from Kyiv to Europe and travel by train.

Currently Ukrainian people can take a train and go to some European capitals. The following cities can be reached from Kyiv from railway station without any changes on the way there – Prague, Bratislava, Budapest, Warsaw and Bucharest.

But there is more to come, Ukrzaliznytsia reveals its extensive plans for the future – trains from Kyiiev are going to take people not only to capitals, but to other cities in Europe as well. Thus Hyundai Rotem trains are going to go to Peremyshl, Poland and they will take their way through Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi and Ternopil. Starting from August, 1, passengers will be able to get to Krakow by rail from Ukraine. Now Ukrzaliznytsia is working towards launching direct railway link from Kyiiev to Vienna.
And here is one more thing to mention – Kyiv is not the only starting point for traveling to Europe. To go to Chelm in Poland, for instance, you can take the train in Kovel. And from June, 15 passengers can travel to resort town Varna from Lviv railway station.
