Blimey started working in a test mode way back in December 2017, but their official opening was scheduled at the beginning of the new year, in January. Concept of the place is simple – everything is done for the visitors' happiness. Given that in a mere month of work the café has already gained its fans, it seems to be working. People come here for the big portions of both food and beverages that are rare to find in Kyiv. Light and bright interior of the place also lures the guests in - the centerpiece in design, as well as the most taken sit, is a table with swing chairs.

The menu indeed makes a walk-in say "blimey!": classic sweet doughnuts with different fillings and glaze, salty doughnuts, granola bowls, and overshakes all look too delicious to be true. There are tips to try several salty doughnuts: salmon&mustard (salmon filling, cream cheese, arugula and Scandinavian mustard sauce), avocado&mint (avocado, spinach, egg, almonds and mint sauce) and bacon&melted cheese with bacon, cream sauce, cheddar and brie cheese.
As for the classics, Blimey themselves suggest to try the latest dish of theirs — Raspberry&marzipan. It was developed by the whole team of the café: filled with raspberry confiture, marzipan glaze and, finally, gently sprinkled with almond flakes and refined ingredient meringue prepared on the base of raspberry puree.
The next speciality of the place are overshakes. To put it simply, overshake is a milkshake you add everything you want: waffles, biscuits, marshmallows, jellies and other additives. It is incredibly sweet and high-calorie beverage, which weighs about 650. According to the owners, all the sweets for overshakes are prepared personally at the café.

For those who aren't especially fond of the extreme sweetness, the menu has fruit bowls with granola with five fillings (for instance, fruit mousse, cinnamon and various toppings). Pistachio bowl is among the popular picks from this section. Finally, beverages menu offers the fans of Harry Potter to try the most beloved drink from the whole saga — Butterbeer. Made from a non-alcoholic beer, it somewhat resembles a milk cocktail.
Apart from this, guests can order cappuccino-orange, hot chocolate and hazelnut latte.
