The first food festival of such format, which is new for Ukraine, will take place in Kyiv on May 14-15, 2016 in art space and open air territory of Lavra Gallery. The festivalis organized by Vegano Hooligano Family (Ukraine) and Happy Cow (US).
Kyiv Vegan Boom festival aims to create the professional community that unites people, medicine, business, charity, sports and lifestyle under the idea of humanism, love, peace, unity and conscious consumption for the sake of our planet. The event will host special guests from California - Eric Brent and Ken Spector, founders and speakers of legendary Happy Cow platform, which contains information about vegetarian and vegan establishments and places around the world. They will hold public lectures on ‘veganism as a lifestyle’ themes during the two days of the festival.

The program of the festival will draw attention to the question of well-thought and healthy nutrition. One of the most frequent questions when dealing with this lifestyle is ‘So what do you eat?’. Kyiv Vegan Boom will accommodate as much diverse food as possible during the festival. Real samples of delicious and healthy food and educational programs by reputable speakers will be held in order to show that it is easy and tasty to eat and live in a way not damaging any living inhabitants of our planet.

During the two days of the festival Ukrainian and foreign musicians will perform for the guests and children will be given a special area that will become the point of spiritual and physical enrichment. In addition, adult sports activities will be organized with master classes from professional trainers.
