The multi-color festival is going to be celebrated in Kyiv for the 6th time. In India, people dedicate this holiday to the beginning of the spring and to God Vishnu, who has defeated the demon. With help of bright paints and water, Hindu people banish evil spirits and praise God. In 2018, the program of Holi in Kyiv includes such exciting options as dry paints battle, music show, body art and mehendi, workshops, photo areas, delicious dishes of Hindu and Ukrainian cuisine, souvenirs fair and special area for kids with professional animators.

White Nights (Beliye Nochi) Music Fest in Kyiv

White Nights vol. 6, a large dance event in Kyiv, will offer its visitors performances of more than 100 artists playing in different genres, 5 dance floors, photo- and chillout areas, astonishing light installations and drinks from the best Kyiv bars. Leopolis Jazz Fest in Lviv

Leopolis VIII international festival in Lviv will become a precious gift for all lovers of jazz. The list of headliners includes American multi-instrumentalist and two-time Grammy winner Marcus Miller, and popular British vocalist, pianist and composer Jamie Cullum. Besides, well-known Swedish musician and composer Lars Danielsson will present special program with INSO-Lviv academic symphonic orchestra.

Odesa Classics IV International Festival

The festival of classic music, organized by famous Odesa pianist Alexey Botvinov, will last for 10 days. The guests of the event will enjoy soul-uplifting performances of Berlin chamber orchestra, virtuosic violinists Maxim Vengerov, Daniel Hope and Roby Lakatos, Austrian pianist Stefan Vladar, Brazilian-Swiss cellist Antônio Meneses, Swiss clarinet player Dimitri Ashkenazy and many other. The program also includes section of new Ukrainian classic music.

Nimi Nochi (“Mute Nights”) Cinema Fest in Odesa and Kyiv

In 2018, the only one Ukrainian festival of archived movies called “Mute Nights” will take place in Kyiv and Odesa at the same time. During three days, Ukrainian and foreign musicians will add sound to eight films from Ukrainian and international archives. This year, the festival concept is called “Return”, which symbolizes presentation of two Ukrainian archived silent movies that have been considered as lost for a very long time.

Retro Fest in Kamianets-Podilskyi

In the beginning of summer 2018, beautiful fortress city Kamianets-Podilskyi is going to host Retro Fest III. The program of the event includes plenty of exciting activities: retro cars show, live music and vivid dances such as rock`n`roll, boogie-woogie and twist, art space and play area for families with kids. The unique project “Evolution of DJing” is preparing an atmospheric disco party with special equipment called “from gramophone to smartphone”. Besides, on festival days the city will host “Brukivka” cinema fest and plain-air painting event.

OperaFest Tulchyn

The main purpose of OperaFest Tulchyn II international festival is to present Tulchyn city as a regional cultural center and to draw audience`s attention to the historical monument of the XVIII century, where Tulchyn culture school is located nowadays. The list of festival participants includes more than 30 soloists from Austria, Germany, the USA and Ukraine, 300 orchestra musicians, 50 dancers, 180 choristers and 4 world-famous band-masters.
