This street theater festival unites premiers and experimental performances of young theaters with shows of already well known and popular international theaters. In 2017, the festival will take place on 4 various locations; these will be 4 of the most beautiful squares of the city. This year, viewers will have the opportunity to watch the performances of street theaters from Ukraine, Poland, Byelorussia, Portugal, Germany, Holland, Czech Republic, Australia, France, Italy.

For the 28th consecutive year, "Golden Lion" will host the major heatrical carnival, which will be attended by artists from 8 countries. This carnival is one of the most anticipated events of the whole year; many tourists come especially to witness this bright, fun and magical show. This year, "Golden Lion» Street Theater Festival will last for 10 days, from October 1st, 2017 to October 10th, 2017.
