GOGOLFEST 2017 (Kyiv)

GOGOLFEST is a multi-disciplinary contemporary art festival held annually in Kyiv. It’s named after Ukrainian-born writer Nikolai Gogol and is one of the city’s most spectacular art events of the year. The festival features various sections: theater, music, cinema, education, visual art, dance art, performance, literature and fashion art.

Lviv Book Forum (Lviv)

Publishers and authors will flock to Lviv on the dates of September 13-17, 2017 for the Lviv Book Forum, an annual literature market and festival. In 2017, this will be the 24th Book Forum happening in Lviv. Founded in 1994, it gathers not only publishers, writers or readers, but also celebrities, sportsmen, famous politicians, educators, translators, journalists and is one of the most important social events of the season. Many new publishing houses and indie editorials are being presented here every year. Book Forum in Lviv is Ukraine’s largest event of this kind, combining book market, literary festival, and over a hundred of other various events featuring Ukrainian and foreign authors.
Lviv Book Forum is a dynamic and vibrant event that gathers thousands of guests and visitors every year. In 2017 International Publishers’ Forum in Lviv will be happening at over 60 locations all over the city and will consist of over 100 book and literature themed events. NEXT SOUND Festival 2017 (Kyiv)

This year for the fifth time in a row the progressive and experimental music festival NextSound offers a massive selection of stunning events that will thrill even the most demanding and sophisticated music aficionados.
The crowd will get a chance to see the most extraordinary performers, enrich their knowledge of the sound and its processing at various workshops and lectures, and dive into media art with the best Ukrainian artists.
The music vector of the NextSound will be defined by both veterans of the experimental scene and new faces of the electronic music that have already been recognized and warmly welcomed around the globe.
TRAPIST (AT), ROLY PORTER (UK), EMPTYSET (UK), FUNKI PORCINI (UK), B12 (UK), CHARLOTTE ISABELLE (FR), XOSAR (NL), SHLØMO (FR), SNTS (DE) are among the artists who will perform at the festival.
The visuals of the festival will be covered by BLCK BOX. The crew’s original, first-grade media-art is recognized by the experimental music community.

Odesa Jazz Fest 2017

The major musical event of the year in Odesa, Jazz Fest gathers together most talented jazz musician from all over Ukraine as well as popular international guests. Among most anticipated musicians to play at this year’s Odesa Jazz Fest are Cyrus Chestnut Trio (USA), Batunga & The Subprimes (France), Das Hobos (Germany) and Esja (Austria/Slovak Republic). The festival will take place at the Odesa City Council Garden and Odesa Philharmonic heater from September 22nd to September 24th, 2017.

Craft Beer & Vinyl Music Fest in Lviv

If you are a beer enthusiast and happen to be in Lviv over the last weekend of September, don’t miss the Craft Beer and Vinyl Music Festival. This time it’s «Fresh Hop Edition» of the craft beer festival.
Showcasing specialty, seasonal and small batch beers from local, regional and national craft brewers, the centerpiece of the event is ticketed afternoon tasting passes where aficionados will be able to sample from more than 50 craft beers from over 20 brewers each afternoon.
The event will take place at iFest Republic (24-26, Staroznesens’ka street, Lviv) creative space, one of the best venues of this kind in the city, offering a nice view over Lviv from the spacious outdoor terrace.
With vinyl making a major comeback, many music fans are looking for places to shop for their idols’ records. Hop into a basket and venture on a hot air balloon flight where you can see beautiful Ukraine from a totally unique perspective. An annual hot air balloon festival in Kamyanets Podilskyy, which is one of the most popular and the most spectacular events of the year in Ukraine will be happening from October 7th to October 8th, 2017.

Night in Lviv Festival

Night tours became another popular tourist attraction of Lviv. The cultural life of the city continues deep into the night. The "Night in Lviv” festival is held twice a year. In 2017 it
will be taking place from November 10th to November 13th, 2017.
First «Night in Lviv» Festival was held as a promotional campaign in 2011. Since then it has developed into a full-fledged festival. This will be the 11th «Night in Lviv» Festival and it will bring interesting and rich program to all the visitors: jazz concerts, open air movie night, cycle quests, themed excursions and walking tours.
For the convenience of all the visitors of «Night in Lviv» Festival tickets to all events can be purchased online. All the public transport will be running till late on the days of the festival.
