The authors of the famous “Butterfly” hit, American rapcore band Crazy Town, are going to visit Ukraine. American jazz musician, arranger and composer David Berkman will play his «New York Jazz» program for Kyiv audience. David has inherited love to jazz from his father, who was a big fan of jazz pianists such as Oscar Peterson and Tommy Flanagan. This determined the fate of young David, who had also chosen career of a pianist. Nowadays, David Berkman is a winner of 2000 Doris Duke/Chamber Music America New Works Creation and Presentation Grant awards. He has played in many jazz bands, including Cecil McBee, Tom Harrell and The Vanguard Orchestra.
