Kedr Livanskiy

Often called a new hope of post-Soviet electro, Kedr Livanskiy (real name Yana Kedrina) is a young artist inspired by 80s pop-scene. In her songs she captured a bit of everything: her love for literature, Perestroika era music and original cinematography. Melancholic and introspective electro was critically acclaimed — now Kedr Livanskiy starts concert program in support of her new Ariadna album.

Street Jazz - Ella Fitzgerald

A star of jazz that needs no introducing will shine again in February thanks to Urban Gypsy Ukrainian jazz band. The band revives the traditions of the unique jazz style —manouche, also called gypsy jazz. This direction combines traditional music of the manouche gypsies with jazz rhythms of the 30's and 40's. All famous hits by Ella Fitzgerald will be performed on the acoustic string instruments: two guitars, a violin and a double bass.

YUKO

This duo from Kyiv has conquered hearts of many electronic music fans, as well as the critics ever since its birth at Holos Krainy (The Voice) project. Having presented their Ditch debut album, the band now is ready to perform live and tear the dancefloor in the Atlas club. YUKO's peculiarity is folktronica — genre that combines fast rhythm of electronic music with beauty and subtlety of folk songs.

Real veterans of Ukrainian pop scene, СКАЙ has recently celebrated its 15th anniversary — in an all-Ukrainian tour. On the 14th of February, the band will present a festive program of the most romantic songs written during the entire period of the band's existence. That's quite a wide choice range — the team has 5 full-length albums up its sleeve.

Jazz Love Songs

Another way to spend St. Valentine’s Day is to visit the Jazz Love Songs, where guests are to witness the brand new program. Park congress and exhibition hall will host everyone who wants to celebrate their Valentine's Day with live music. Dmyto Aleksandrov, Pavlo Halitskii, Dmytro Teimuzarov and Yuri Salukhi will perform the sultry and passionate improvisations. Moreover, one of the best orchestras of the country, Virtuosas of Kyiv, will perform as well.

Accept

This February in Kyiv the titans of heavy metal, German band Accept, will perform The Rise of Chaos new album. It holds a secure third position in the German chart Offizielle Top 100, and the old hits of the band are a matter of rock history. The new album is dedicated to the modern state of the world and the chaos it got itself into, brightly reflected in the powerful riffs, winding solos and loud choruses with back vocals by Wolf Hoffmann and Peter Baltes.

Ze Best Cinema Music - Ennio Morricone

What would one give to listen to the hits by one of the most famous composers of our time? During his career, Ennio Morricone wrote musical score for 400 films and television series and won many awards, including two Oscars, three Golden Globes and a Grammy. The well-known hits from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Django Unchained and many others will be performed by the National Academic Symphonic Band of Ukraine.

Джой Дівіжн / Joy Division

A peculiar event among the others, this concert is also a performance about the life and work of the British band Joy Division and its mysterious soloist Ian Curtis. The founders of post-punk and rising stars of the new scene, Joy Division existed only three years, having released two albums, and ceased to exist in 1980 after Ian Curtis's suicide. The concert-performance is presented to the public by Дикий Театр (Wild Theater) and is, in fact, their long-expected come-back.

Animal ДжаZ

Well-known and beloved in the post-Soviet space, Animal ДжаZ returns after a five year hiatus to perform in Kyiv. Their Шаг Вдох most popular album turns 10 years old, which is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the nostalgic rock hits. Atlas club will host Animal ДжаZ this February to give a little more drive to the winter evenings.
