The short-list of PinchukArtCentre Prize nominees was made by the selection board after considering more than 650 applications of young Ukrainian artists from all regions of Ukraine and other countries. Each of 20 works expresses inner world and individual ideas of an artist. The exposition covers wide range of topics. Some of the artists paid attention to social and political issues of Ukraine, studying the influence of an armed conflict on the country dwellers, while others took their inspiration from the process of self-discovery or dreams about the future and utopian ideas.

After many years of work with different artists, I can just say that I feel proud to see the birth of the radically new generation of artists on the art scene.
