The autumn sports season is opened with the game of 'ball. The teams of Ukraine and Spain will compete for the right to take part in the 2019 World Championship. Both teams are already engaged in vigorous training, so we can expect a heated match.

RTR 2018: Car Race on Chaika
Kyiv car maniacs are used to the traditional races on the Chaika airfield. However, the autumn Festival of Speed will be new in many aspects. The festival will last for two days and will include new exciting configurations for the pilots that will compete to get on top.
The schedule consists of the RTR Time Arrack, Drift Attack, a grand Tuning Show with more than 50 stylish cars, moto stunt show, drift show and even Drift Taxi - a chance to ride with the professional pilot. The airfield will be divided into the main competition zone, lounge zones, food court, bars and hookah zone.

WWFC 12
One of the main and festive sports events of this autumn, WWFC 12 is a grand tournament in mixed martial arts that often gathers a crowd in the Palace of Sports. The MMA show in Kyiv meets the international standards and delivers with the same high-key energy.
This time, the WWFC tournament will gather top world fighters who will compete in three matches for the title of the world champion. Guests are promised a buffet with cocktails, live music from DJ and more surprises from the event's organizers.

International Women's Hockey Day
The International Women's Hockey Day is a great opportunity to spend a family weekend: the ice rink located not far from the Chernihivska metro station welcomes everyone to enjoy the fun and try themselves on the ice.
The event will host the match between the National girl's team aged 8-9 and boys aged 8-9, as well as a 3x3 tournament. Coaches will head free workshops for those who want to polish their skills, and kids will be entertained with face-painting and games with animators. 9th Wizz Air Kyiv City Marathon 2018
Wizz Air Kyiv City Marathon traditionally lures in those who love to kill two birds with one stone - apart from it being one of the main sports events in Kyiv, the marathon also raises money for charity. Thus, in 2017 the participants donated more than UAH 1 million. Besides, European Athletics organization gave Wizz Air Marathon a 5-star rate.
This autumn, we can expect six individual marathons, one relay, three kids' and four corporate. The minimum distance is 2 km for the Charity Run and Family Run, while the longest is Under Armour Run, which is 21km long. The registration has already begun and some of the options are quickly running out of spots, so make sure to register on the English version of the kyivmarathon.org/en/ beforehand.

Dynamo - Rennes FC match
Last but certainly not least, one of the main matches of the season will take place on the Olympiiskyi stadium and most likely will traditionally gather a crowd on the same-named metro station. Kyiv Dynamo FC will meet Rennes FC to compete in the 2018–19 UEFA Europa League. The two teams have not previously met before, so the bets might come out interesting. Make sure to buy tickets in advance, as they are sold out quite quickly.
