The history of Kanapa dates back to 2013. At that time, a restaurant was opened under the same name in Kyiv. This restaurant, as well as other 12 conceptual venues, was created by Dmytro Borysov, one of the best-known, innovative and socio-responsible businessmen of Ukraine. Kanapa in Kyiv was the first place that developed the concept of modern Ukrainian cuisine, and also actively cooperated with local farmers and used the molecular gastronomy technique.
The team of Kanapa restaurant in Warsaw travels around various corners of Ukraine and Poland, constantly seeking new, original and local products and tastes. The chefs use innovative technologies to create dishes that give not only unforgettable culinary experiences, but are also served in a surprising way. Each dish in the menu is offered to a special drink, which creates the best pair according to the rules of food-paring.
Currently, kanapa restauracja is located in an old villa with a beautiful garden and it is ready to welcome 150 guests at the same time. The spacious rooms have exhibitions of contemporary artists. Every week there are musical events.

The restaurant is located in the old apartment building on Foksal street. When creating a restaurant, its founders tried to implement the atmosphere of old Lviv and revive the traditions of large family feasts and love for delicious food.
