When the first snow reached Ukraine, many restaurants and cafes were quick to remind the guests about various hot drinks to be served to keep warm in this chilly weather. We chose 5 restaurants in Odesa with classic winter drinks on the menu to check out this November.

Hot Jamaican punch in P1 Prosecco Bar

Hot Jamaican punch with spicesP1 Prosecco gastro bar is located in a tall building on Lidersivskyi boulevard, opening a breathtaking panorama of the Black Sea. Regulars come to this speakeasy for a nice chat, live music and, of course, delicious food and cocktails. P1 special hot Jamaican punch is based on Bacardi Blanca rum, Malibu, Midori, and peach liqueurs, topped with blackcurrant juice. Mediterranean cuisine dishes like carpaccio and tartare can go well with the drink.

Amsterdam grogAmsterdam Hotel is located right near Odesa Opera House in a quick walk to the Duke de Richelieu Monument. In the daytime, the restaurant is an often business meeting location and during the night it hosts live music concerts. The restaurant offers dishes from European and Pan-Asian cuisines. Hot Amsterdam style grog served here is based on Bacardi rum and graciously peppered with spices. Roasted duck with apple purée can top off the spicy drink.

Red mulled wine with orangesDespite the busy tourist flow on Derybasivska Street, the atmosphere in Jardin restaurant stays cozy and welcoming thanks to the location in the City Garden and delicious French cuisine. Jardin has a wide selection of hot drinks to warm up this winter in Odesa. We paid special attention to Provence mulled wine, based on red wine, fruits and spices with the addition of Beefeater gin and a sweet syrup. Crêpes with berry flambé sauce go well with the rich drink.

Cherry punch with cardamom in Benedikt

Cherry punch with cardamomOne more 24/7 fine dining spot in Odesa, Benedikt is located in a cozy quiet street away from the touristy hubbub. The spot became popular for a variety of delicious 'around-the-globe' breakfasts. The hot cherry punch spiced with cardamom is a nice match for the Florentine breakfast - creamy eggs with spinach and Parmigiano, served with a toast or a croissant.
