Ukrainian Artist's Yana Rusnak Success at the Vienna Long Museums Night

Yana Rusnak exhibition

An exhibition by the Ukrainian artist Yana Rusnak, "The Body Language through Gold", was opened in the framework of the ORF Long Night of Museums in Vienna at the villa of Austrian Secession master Gustav Klimt. The exposition of the artist's works had a roaring success among this year's visitors.

Yana Rusak and her artworkYana Rusnak shares her experience: "When we decided to hold the exhibition in Villa Klimt, the last studio where the legendary artist worked, I began active preparation for this momentous event. It was important for me to convey that my works carry the thin line of dialogue with the great Austrian artist. Klimt created female images, and I create them as well. Specifically for this exhibition, I experimented with a completely new technique and format - in particular, black and white photos and installations, which I tried to fit in the villa's permanent exhibition."

The opening of the exhibition was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Vienna, the Ukrainian diaspora and Austrian art lovers.

The exhibition was organized with the participation of the Embassy of Ukraine in Austria and the Austrian-Ukrainian society.
