Ukrainian Success at Paris Design Week 2018

Ukrainian clothes and decor

Ukrainian designers first participated at the Paris Design Week only two years ago and even then grabbed attention of the experts and visitors. However, this year's event is the peak of curiosity towards the country's stand. Ten Ukrainian designers presented DIFFUSION project, which showed various directions of young Ukrainian design from ceramics, lighting, furniture to fashion and accessories, and caused a great interest among professionals.

According to the authors of the project, DIFFUSION reflects the contemporary state of the Ukrainian object design with merging different areas of creative industries and technologies, and combining traditional and modern materials.

Vincent Romero, the founder of the authoritative design Blog Esprit Design Vincent Romero, gave a high grade to the Ukrainian designers. The national location was also visited by director of SAFI Philippe Brocart and attaché on cultural affairs at the Embassy of Ukraine in France Irena Karpa.
