Imagine Dragons concert

The trend for jazz concerts stays strong in the capital — Kyiv meets the end of summer with all kinds of jazz melodies from rich and sensual gospel to dark and lush soul. Moreover, to make sure Ukrainians don’t fret over the coming of autumn, the last day of August is marked by the grand alternative rock performance on the Olympiiskyi stadium.

Kazka

Kazka, which means a ‘fairytale’ in Ukrainian, truly has a magical story of success — the record-breaking band has climbed the top of iTunes chart in a few days since the release of their first album. Moreover, their single Плакала became the first Ukrainian-language song to ever be featured in the YouTube chart. Melodic vocals and electronics are carefully mixed together by the band to dance the night away.

Zoe Gilby Band

Mystetskyi Arsenal continues providing jazz for the summer evenings. The beginning of the month will be met with Zoe Gilby, a lady with strong vocals and three albums from the UK. Zoe is a regular at various international music festivals, including Koktebel in Ukraine. The deep lyrics will find balance with the guitar, double bass and drums.
