Zhovten Fest
In case you’ve always wanted to visit Oktoberfest but the opportunity doesn’t present itself this year, Zhovten Fest that will take place in Kyiv might be a good alternative. The two-day festival will gather the best beer manufacturers of the country, including Lviv’s Pravda Beer Theatre, Lemberger, Kyiv’s PĚST and Ranger breweries, Kharkiv's AltBier Brewery and craft breweries from all over Ukraine.
Apart from the drink itself, guests will have a chance to enjoy live music by Ukrainian music bands, workshops, quests and an online-translation from the Oktoberfest in Germany. The indoor location will save the visitors from any bad weather.

Kyiv Food & Wine Festival
The 11th Food and Wine festival in Kyiv will be focused on the classic duo of wine and cheese. Ukrainian and foreign sommeliers will give lectures about the selected wines, which can be tested right during the presentation. Besides, every guest will get a glass as a welcoming gift.
The festival program will include degustations from the key Ukrainian wineries, 10 newcomers of the festival and large manufacturers of cheese as well as craft cheese makers. The shtick of the 11th festival is the sabrage school — local sommeliers will teach you how to turn opening sparkling wine into a spectacular show.

Oyster Battle
The traditional part of the Food & Wine Festival is the Oyster Battle. For the fourth time, visitors will compete for the grand prize — a box of oysters from Scythia Oysters and a box of Inkerman sparkling wine. The fastest to open 5 oysters in a row will be the winner. Even if you haven’t opened oysters before, festival staff will teach you. Besides, in any case, you will have a chance to eat the 5 oysters with a glass of sparkling wine.

Ulichnaya Eda: BBQ
The last open-air BBQ party of the year will gather all meat-lovers of the capital. As usual, Ulichnaya Eda street food festival will invite the best-selected vendors in Kyiv, presenting their versions of the delicious meal from wings to ribs with ketchup or mustard. The entrance is free for kids up to the age of 15, people with disabilities or those whose birthday coincides with the festival dates.

The First Macaron Festival
Fans of French pastries, rejoice! The first macaron festival will take place in Kyiv this autumn. Visitors will have a chance to witness the whole process of creating the delicious dessert and learn how to make it during workshops. Those who are confident in their baking skills can register for the Best Macaron of Ukraine competition. Contestants will be judged by the top pastry chefs in Ukraine.
