“Ukraine has a very powerful Association of Taxpayers, and who better to be the fifth vice president of the TAE than Grigol Katamadze? He is to continue to do what he does in Ukraine, but at the European level. We have to think of how to cut back on red tape, implement our ideas of a free market economy and tax reduction. What is appropriate for Europe works for Ukraine and other countries”, Michael Jaeger said.

Also, the European Economic Senate and the All-Ukrainian public organization “Association of Taxpayers of Ukraine” have signed the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement as part of the Forum.

Ingo Friedrich, ex-Vice President of the European Parliament, Honorary Member of the European Parliament, President of the EES; Michael Jaeger, CEO of the European Economic Senate and Grigol Katamadze, President of the All-Ukrainian public organization “Association of Taxpayers of Ukraine” have signed the document. It provides for partnership and mutual assistance in protecting the rights and interests of taxpayers in the economic, legal, social and other sectors, as well as promotion of domestic and foreign investment in the Ukrainian economy and supporting our country in its journey towards reform. A joint International Expert Advisory Council will accompany the activities and protect the rights and interests of taxpayers at the national and international levels.

The document was signed for 5 years according to Grigol Katamadze.

“Supporting effective business activities of Ukrainian companies in Europe was an initiative of the European Economic Senate. The Agreement states that the EES will use its capabilities and authority to raise the profile of Ukraine, as well as the status of Ukrainian entrepreneurship, as an honest business partner in Europe and European institutions. We for our part assumed responsibility to help European business and potential investors from Europe”, Mr. Katamadze said.

To recap, LEVEL UP UKRAINE International Business Forum is being held in Kyiv for the fourth time, gathering annually about 800 business representatives from around the world. The main idea of the Forum is the principles of creating more. The Forum acts as a platform for the development of the ecosystem, where the government, business and society are developing conditions resulting in real action in Ukraine.
