New Railway Destinations from Ukraine

For train enthusiasts and height-haters «Destinations» gathered together some up-to-date information on new international destinations that can be reached by train from now on. Ukrainian Railways Ukrzaliznytsia added quite a number of new trains that will connect major Ukrainian cities with key European cities.

Escaping from daily routine and changing the scenery around is the best way to recharge your batteries and get inspired to continue conquering the world. Travelling is, on the one hand, extremely pleasant activity but when it comes to airport procedures one can get bored and exhausted. To avoid this kind of stress and feel relaxed during the trip take a look at new railway destinations 2017 from Kyiv, Lviv and Odesa to Europe and travel by train.

But there is more to come, Ukrzaliznytsia reveals its extensive plans for the future – trains from Kyiv are going to navigate through Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi and Ternopil to take the travelers to Polish Peremyshl and Krakow. There is also Odesa-Peremyshl route planned to be launched in mid 2018. Now Ukrzaliznytsia is working towards launching direct railway link from Kyiv to Vienna.

And here is one more thing to mention – Kyiv is not the only starting point for traveling to Europe. To go to Chelm in Poland, for instance, you can take the train in Kovel. The following cities can be reached from Kyiv from railway station without any changes on the way there – Prague, Bratislava, Budapest, Warsaw and Bucharest.
