The New Bursa Hotel on Podil

More and more hotels popped up right before the UEFA Championship final in Kyiv. One of them is Bursa Hotel, located right in the historical heart of the city, Podil. The new venue lures in with intricately designed rooms, a rooftop bar, and a small cozy coffee shop.

Bursa can easily be called a hotel complex — after all, the venue takes up 4 buildings in the cozy Podil corner. The project initiative belongs to the contemporary art gallery Bursa, located in one of the buildings. The new hotel aims at creating a friendly atmosphere among all guests who stay in the premises. Overall, Bursa has 33 rooms and the capacity of hosting is 68 people.

There are 8 room categories so that guests can choose something up to their taste and budget: for instance, Easy Room has two double beds located one above the other, so the room can host four people. An interesting option is Andrej Room that overlooks the famous ‘Kyiv Montmartre’ — Andriivskyi descent and St. Andrew’s Church. The rooms are furnished with vintage items from France and Norway, as well as with items of contemporary Ukrainian designers.

The Белый шум / White Noise café located in Bursa offers the familiar quick breakfast and lunch options: croissants, sandwiches and a cup of steaming coffee. Besides, the shelves of the café are filled with design & art books, zines, and magazines.

Finally, the ‘1818’ bar on the roof offers a majestic Kyiv panorama and intricate cocktails. The bar’s name takes up from the year of the building’s construction, so guests staying at Bursa are truly witnessing history.
The official opening takes place on May 27.
