The Reikartz Company's history in Ukraine began in 2003, when a group of Belgian architects led by Francois Ryckaerts bought an old mansion in the center of Lviv. The partners noted that Ukraine lacked 3+/4 star chain hotels, so they embarked on an ambitious project to establish a Ukrainian hotel chain under the brand name Reikartz Hotels & Resorts.
