“My biggest challenge is having a new team with a new nationality,” she explains, but that is nothing new to Nadine. Her first assignment abroad was in Georgia, where her team spoke Russian and Georgian. She turned the challenge into opportunity.
Ambitious and determined, Nadine is one of a handful of participants in The Rezidor Hotel Group’s prestigious Mentee Program, a fast-track program that prepares high potential employees for senior leadership opportunities. Her former General Manager was a mentor in the program and encouraged her to get involved.
“My original goal was to become a department head for a hotel,” she says, “but once I received it, I wanted it to be more. The Company is always striving to challenge people to improve themselves, create business and create talent from inside. Other companies don’t do that.”
Nadine says she makes every moment matter by “being a role model in grabbing every hint, information and observation to personalize service and creating memorable moments, showing that every level of position can create memorable moments.” She also encourages sharing and recognizing creative and uncommon ideas.

Nadine believes you need to be born with the serving gene and attitude; everything else can be trained to develop from good to great.
Nadine started her career with a hotel apprenticeship in Germany in 1999 before joining Rezidor in 2005 as Sales Manager in the pre-opening office of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Frankfurt. In 2006, she was appointed Assistant Meeting and Event Manager, and was promoted to Meeting and Event Manager a year later. She also served as Front Office Manager and Food and Drinks Manager before joining Radisson Blu Hotel Neubrandenburg in 2014 as Acting Hotel Manager. She joined the Batumi team as Hotel Manager in 2016.

When she isn’t working, Nadine enjoys sports, including running. She also loves to travel to major European cities to experience the culture and food in other destinations.
Her advice to people following in her footsteps is, “There will be ups and downs, but you will succeed. There are always people who will support you.”
