The Hungarian budget airline Wizz Air announced the opening of four new summer routes from Kyiv and Lviv airports. Starting 18 June Wizz Air will operate its second service from Lviv Airport to the capital of Germany, Berlin Schoenefeld as well as three new low-fare services will commence in August from Kyiv to Poznan and Lublin in Poland and Frankfurt Hahn in Germany. According to the company, passengers who plan to visit these countries can already book tickets online at the site wizzair.com at rates starting from UAH 579 (EUR19,99).

Ryanair, Europe’s number one budget airline, announced its first Ukraine flights. Ukraine is its 34th country with 4 new Kyiv routes to Eindhoven, London, Manchester and Stockholm, starting from October 2017.
Ryanair will also commence flights to/from Lviv, with even more new routes and lower fares for Ukrainian customers and visitors. From Lviv (LWO) the destinations are as follows: Berlin Schönefeld, Budapest, Eindhoven, Krakow, London Stansted, Memmingen and Wroclaw. Ryanair celebrated its new Ukraine flights by offering seats for sale at prices starting from just €19.99 for travel in October and November, which are available for booking until midnight Thursday (16 Mar).

Other low cost airlines that have already operated from Kyiv airports for a few years are Flydubai with their almost daily flights to Dubai, Israeli airline Up offering flight to Tel Aviv and Turkish budget airline Pegasus with Istanbul connecting flights to Balcelona, London and other popular worldwide destinations.
