Excursion to the Christmas Decorations Factory in Klavdievo

Klavdievo Christmas decorations factory follows the traditions of manufacturing glass Christmas tree decorations for many decades. Founded in 1948, a small factory processed glass for medical purposes. Later, it turned into the largest manufacturer of Christmas products in Eastern Europe.

Today these Christmas decorations are known not only in Ukraine; they also decorate Christmas trees in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, the United States and Georgia.

These decorations are handmade and that is why are valued very much. Christmas ornaments of Klavdievo factory are not just beautiful products but the symbols of modern design and high quality.
They symbolize the warmth of the New Year and Christmas holidays. These decorations are often inherited by generations and delight the families for many years.

There is also the museum of Christmas decorations on the factory. It presents decorations of the best factories from around the world, the ancient and modern ones. The highlight of this factory is the unique collection of "Santa Hermitage" exclusive series of reproductions of the world's best artists in glass for Christmas tree balls. There are paintings of Rembrandt, Roerich, Aivazovsky, Dali, Michelangelo, Kuindzhi, Shishkin, Monet and many others. It took more than two years to create that amazing collection.

To see this beauty, anyone can take a tour to the factory and the museum. Master-class of glass painting is also offered over there.
