In Kyiv, Ukraine, 18 multi-story residential buildings are actively undergoing restoration, funded by the UNITED24 platform. Now, you can read the stories of their residents and monitor their progress thanks to the monitoring project by the IT company LUN.

UNITED24 aims to raise 719,000,000 Ukrainian hryvnias to restore these 18 buildings. Thanks to donors worldwide, 638,935,400 hryvnias have already been transferred for reconstruction. Additionally, over 50 million hryvnias are already collected in the Ministry of Infrastructure's account. Starting today, anyone willing can support the fundraising for five more buildings. The goal is to reach 28,369,770 hryvnias to meet the total target.

Dozens of international companies, platform ambassadors, and private donors have joined UNITED24's fundraising efforts. For instance, the fashion house Balenciaga contributed funds to restore two buildings in Irpin. Three more buildings will receive a new lease on life through personal campaigns by UNITED24 ambassadors: boxer Oleksandr Usyk, director Michel Hazanavicius, and tennis player Elina Svitolina.

"It is crucial for us to allow donors from all over the world, from Canada to Australia, Lithuania to France, to follow the construction progress. Every person who has donated even one dollar or a million can feel a connection to our history through the UNITED24 and LUN projects. They can learn more about each building, read the residents' stories, see its location on an interactive map, and better understand the scale of destruction and the need for support through the 3D models," explains Yaroslava Hres, the coordinator of the UNITED24 platform.

IT company LUN has launched a construction monitoring system that tracks building restoration progress. Their team's photo correspondents regularly visit sites using a patented technology application. They capture each building from the same angle to ensure a dynamic monitoring process. Using drone imagery, they create 3D models of the buildings in their current state.

"LUN is always about the future: construction, new housing for people, a comfortable and happy life in the city. It was painful to witness the destruction of buildings whose birth we had observed since the construction of the first floors. Therefore, we didn't hesitate for a moment when UNITED24 offered to help. Each of us in this war strives to contribute to the path to victory. It's impossible to sit idly by. It's a unique experience to utilize technologies designed for peacetime to rebuild ruined homes. It's an emotionally challenging experience, but we are pleased to make efforts for joint reconstruction," says Denis Sudilkovsky, Marketing Director at LUN.
