Sekta brand was established in 2009 by Denis Rosputniy. Denis is well-known as an artist, a businessman and an author and coauthor of many other projects such as Avatar Yoga Festival, Kyiv Sunrise Yogaz yoga studio, Fast Film Fest. In past, he has worked in Transparant advertising agency, being a member of “Jazz Koktebel” festival team. When Denis Rosputniy was creating Sekta brand, his main idea was to unite painters and illustrators, so that they could draw prints for Sekta T-shirts and get money for that, being free from limits stated by fashion and mainstream. Nowadays, more than 100 illustrators draw prints for Sekta, and such diversity of creative ideas makes this brand really unique.

In winter 2010, Sekta opened an online-shop, which offered not only T-shirts, but also jeans, dresses, hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets, hats and other clothes. Today, Sekta has its own small production with experimental workshop. It allows to express innovative ideas not only in prints for T-shirts, but also in clothes fabrication.
The prints collections are divided by particular topics: “Flegmats From Hell” series presents literature-inspired prints; “Mystics On The Ride” is related to gurus and spiritual teachers; “Fructose Ramshank” series is dedicated to 12 animals, who came to say goodbye to Buddha and were assigned patronage over 12 years of Chinese horoscope; “Koktebel Jazz Fest” clothes are dedicated to jazz music. There are also other different interesting topics – the phantasy of illustrators is endless.
