The Ukrainian Connoisseur Club 5 Star Dinner at Ronin

The Ukrainian Connoisseur Club 5 Star Dinner at Ronin

A grey November evening can turn into bright and “tasty” one in the company of pleasant people and a cozy environment like it was on Thursday, November 9, in Ronin restaurant where the TUCC dinner took place.

This spacy two-storeyed restaurant with a mix of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine is a part of Dmytro Borysov Gastrofamily. It opened its doors for the first time on March 29, 2016. The concept and philosophy of this restaurant can be briefly described with the following lines: ‘Hundreds of years of evolution. The intertwining of history and gastronomy. The migration of people and the mixing of cultures are a solid base for the birth of the new. Lone genius and the habits of millions. Peruvian and Japanese cuisine were created in this way’.

The restaurant has great terraces for summer picnics and Baby Rock room for kids to have fun while the parents enjoy the food and drinks.
It is not a surprise that The Ukrainian Connoisseur Club chose this place for a dinner. As a result the service, food and drinks were estimated by connoisseurs as the perfect combination in terms of pairing.

Sous-chef Natalia Strilchuk and sommelier Andrejtsev Yury prepared really special dinner and selected great wines for this evening:
Tiradito Tuna with Chivite Las Fincas Rosado was the starter which looked and tasted delicious.

Nikkei Causas with scallops with Katzrin Yarden Chardonnay and fillet mignon with yam cream, vegetables and yuzu-truffle sauce supplemented with Errazuriz Carmenere Max Reserva for the main course impressed the guests as well.
Dessert of Mochi white chocolate with mango tasted really great with Akashi-Tai Umeshu and was like a cherry on the cake for that evening.

As the result of this hi-end connoisseur dinner the restaurant scored 4.8 points and has got 5 stars from TUCC.
Looking forward to visit new Kyiv restaurants with hauteur cuisine.
