The interior design of Kin Kao keeps to simplicity and coziness, created by clean lines, minimalistic décor and wooden furniture. Red and gray, the typical Vietnamese combination, are the main colors of the interior. The restaurant has two halls with different capacity. The large hall walls are decorated with the paintings of cranes, which are traditional symbol of Asia. Kin Kao also has a small roofed terrace with panoramic windows; terrace`s façade is decorated with many green plants. Guests like to sit here and enjoy views of old Podil.
Yuri Sim, Kim Kao restaurant chef, who has 20 years of professional experience, is a fan of healthy cooking and Asian cuisine. He has travelled a lot throughout the world, and his travels inspired him to create Kin Kao diversified menu. The restaurant is vegetarian friendly, which means that an ordered meal can be cooked in vegetarian version on client`s request.

The restaurant menu includes lots of worthy salads, for example, salad with duck meat and pink grapefruit with ponzu sauce and salad with tofu cheese and soy sprouts (the second one will be surely loved by vegetarians). It is highly recommended to try Tom Yam legendary spicy soup, ramen soup cooked using three types of consommé and served with egg noodle and pork, and Kuksi cold spicy Korean soup, which is perfect for a hot summer day. Red rice with coconut milk, shrimps and vegetables will also be a great choice. The restaurant offers plenty of delicious main courses such as Kin Kao steak, salmon with lemongrass, Peking pork and many other. There are also five types of spring rolls: with salmon, tune, tofu, duck meat and shrimps. WOK menu also offers many tasty meals, for example, pike perch in sweet and sour sauce and duck with coriander. As for side dishes, Kin Kao provides four types of rice: Jasmine rice, round rice, sticky rice and red rice. It should be mentioned that clients can choose the flavor strength of any dish by themselves. Roti Thai cake, made of crackling dough with a banana inside, will be a perfect choice for dessert. The drinks menu of Kin Kao includes Asian whiskey, Japanese wines, sake, 31 kinds of delicious cocktails, wide range of natural teas, craft lemonades and fresh juices.
